On the heels of an overwhelming response to sister restaurant La Provence, Ambler, PA, Chef Manuel Jiménez, Cindy, and their daughter Jessica and Husband Ahmed present The Mallard at Mainland Inn — a family-owned and operated culinary endeavor inspired by extraordinary delicacies found around the world.

Cindy’s charm permeates every establishment she enters. Often seen mingling and checking to make sure each guest’s experience is unforgettable, Cindy leads with enthusiasm, camaraderie, and a discerning eye.

Manuel Jiménez
Chef Manuel uses his far-reaching background in fine-dining to influence his dishes. He has owned restaurants in Spain and Puerto Rico and studied abroad at the Hôtel Montpelier in Switzerland, the epicenter of haute-cuisine and food knowledge.

Jessica Jiménez-Ahmed
Jessica, with a decade in pharmaceutical sales and publishing advertising, brings a fresh perspective to The Mallard in her first foray into hospitality management. Excited to contribute to her parents’ dream and witness their restaurant ventures evolve, joining The Mallard enables her to eagerly carry forward her family’s industry legacy.

Ahmed Ahmed
With almost two decades of hospitality experience, Ahmed, originally from Bulgaria, started his journey at a family-owned candy store on the Ocean City, NJ, boardwalk 17 years ago, rising to the GM position. Now, at The Mallard, he continues to refine and expand his expertise.
